Workplace Mindfulness

Workplaces around the world are increasing hiring mindfulness coaches to support their teams to learn and practice mindfulness skills. Research from a recent Australian Government and Beyond Blue study found that every dollar spent on staff wellness netted a $2.30 return on investment. The benefits include increased productivity, lowered stress levels, lowered staff absenteeism and lower numbers of workers compensation claims.

Workplace mindfulness gets the best outcomes when applied as a fortnightly or monthly offering which includes discussion, mindfulness practice, reflective discussions and guided recordings for staff to practice between sessions.

Jakob’s mindfulness package is modelled from this best practice and can be run face2face in Byron Bay, The Gold Coast and Brisbane or via Zoom anywhere in the world.

Jakob’s Mindful Workplace Workshops were insightful and provided our teams with a range of simple tools to lower stress levels and improve concentration. Some of the team had never done any meditation before and were hesitant about trying something new. Jakob delivered in these workshops in a gentle manner, explaining the psychological research behind each of the techniques and checked in with everyone individually to ensure they were on track. Thanks again Jakob, your workshops built team connection and helped to open up the dialogue for discussing positive mental health in our workplace’ – Lauren McKay – Wellbeing Leader/Designer – Davenport Campbell
